I've just read this in the last 30 minutes. A very brief explanation of basic levelling up. You could learn faster by simply playing the game

This doesn't cover what it says in description, you may as well just learn the game by playing it yourself.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Smart, Informative & Enlightening Guide 1 April 2014
By T. Coker - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
"The Elder Scrolls Online Guide" is the kind of resource that any player worth their salt needs to take a look at. It's a highly informative and incredibly in depth guide that provides players (both newbies and those who have played for a while but haven't learned all the tricks of the trade) with a solid foundation to reach high levels in the game very quickly. From insider secrets such as ways to rack up a whole lot of gold very quickly to strategies that help to quickly push you through the ranks to the high level of elite, this is a thoroughly enlightening guide that makes it possible to truly play in style on ESO.

The guide is well-written with a straightforward and easily understandable writing style; it's precise and in depth so that players can gather all the information, tools and strategies they need to level up quickly with a lot of gold in their pockets as they do so. What i liked about the guide is that it is very structured with a clear path for players to follow and find just what they need to get ahead. It has a great deal of experienced knowledge and passion for the game, transferring that same passion and love of playing to the reader in wonderful ways.

Overall, by the time I'd finished the guide I felt liked I learned countless ways to make my gaming a lot more successful and enjoyable, so I would definitely recommend the guide to those who want to make it far on ESO.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Worth It 29 Oct. 2014
By James Smith - Published on Amazon.com

This book was a complete waste of money. It's extremely (EXTREMELY) short and gives you very little info at all about the details of the game, just general overviews similar to what you could find on any Elder Scolls website or blog.

2.0 out of 5 stars Some good info 14 April 2014
By James Patterson - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
There is some good information available in this book. In all honesty I was trying to get it as the free view through prime and accidently purchased. I haven't found a way to return it yet...

It doesn't tell you how to get to level 50 in 7 days though... The best part of this book is telling the general locations of all the shards, as well as some basic combos/rotations for each class.

Also, the format did not lend itself to the Kindle app on my iPad. There were copyrights all over the pages, breaking up any type of 'flow'.
3.0 out of 5 stars I guess you get more than you bargained for... if you get it for free. 24 Oct. 2015
By D. McDermott - Published on Amazon.com

First, a disclaimer: The price when I bought this was $0.00, so I set the bar a lot lower than I would for a book that actually cost me money. That being said, there's really not a leveling strategy here, just some recommended character builds and a little PvP advice. There's also info on the locations of Skyshards, which is useful... but the book is incorrectly formatted, making it hard to read. There are copyright notices in the body of the text, indicating some sort of automatic conversion from a PDF or DOC or something. It's also really short, so don't go looking for a lot of in-depth game info here.

But... at least it's spelled correctly!

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't "Scroll" past this "Guide"! @badwordplay 3 April 2014
By Owen Robinson - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
The only MMO's I have ever played are Guild Wars 1 (all 3 "expansions) and 2, and WOW pre-Cataclysm. I loved Skyrim, so the next great game from them had me curious. I wanted to get enough information to be ready to start when the games comes out officially in a few days (beta access notwithstanding), so I could not waste a lot of time on skills, or classes, that I wouldn't want to play.

The amount of information in this guide is crazy. Not only does it go over each class, and the 3 skill trees of each class, but it also gives you advice on what builds work for your style of play. It also covers how to be an effective PvP fighter, if you're into that (I'm not, really). It goes over quests, which ones are worth doing, and which ones are skippable, and how to max out your character's level as effectively as possible.

This is great for me, because I don't have a whole lot of money, or a whole lot of free time, and this guide will help me save on both. I can pay for the couple of months that it will take to max out the game, and get everything that I want out of it, at least until the eventual expansions and things. The only nitpick I really have is the formatting: it shows the copyright seemingly on each page... Other than that minor gripe, I think this guide is really well done, and very informative. This guide is so thorough, I don't even feel the need to play the game anymore! Wait...
