It's like well good init. So good I is gonna buy another ain't I, one for the editing software and one for the video/images. Skyrim is rather tasty on it as well. Only annoying thing is the power switch which is hidden on the back half way down inside some ledge, whoever designed that is a bit of a din. There is some light bleed but not overly so, bleeding light is normal for IPS monitors allegedly, only noticeable if screen is black and no lights on in the room.
I like the retro design as well, makes me wish I had a black ghetto blaster sitting next to it blasting out sounds from the sugar hill gang and co.
The speakers are like well crap, no bass whatsoever, even my phone sounds better, but there is an audio out jack socket for external speakers or use whatever is rigged to your computer PC.
I chose this over the benq 144hz 3d super gaming monitor (around same price) because I'm more into video editing etc than gaming, if I was just gaming I would probably gone for benq, either way though, this is a lovely monitor for all your monitor needs.
Forgot to mention about the the uk adaptor plug that came with the monitor, it doesn't fit the European plug attached to the power lead, you need to either buy another adaptor, cut and replace the sealed fitted plug or use a spare lead you may have lying around (old 3 pin kettle type)
