this book not only lets you compare popular translations at a glance, it gives straight answeres to your questions about the translations-controversy-"why do we need new translations?", "which greek manuscripts are the most accurate?", "did copysts add and change the words in copying and how do we know for sure?'-a "must-own" for any serious bible student-no matter what level. if you only buy one bible study/reference work-this is it!

Brought as a gift for another party and feedback from them was very positive i.e." I have found this bible very interesting to have eight translations of the sames verses on two pages to look at as you open the Bible. As a christian this gives me a good insight into the various ways the Bible has been translated over time. This book was not available in the shops so was pleased to obtain it on line".
