At last one of the worst movies of all time makes its way to UK DVD thanks to Elstree Hill. Pop star wannabe Arch Hall Jr and his hair star in his fathers production about a primitive cave man living in the Californian desert. Expect poor acting, cheap sets (well one set and lots of desert) and characters spouting inane dialogue sometimes without even moving their lips. This release is advertised as being in black and white on the packaging but in fact it's an old colour print (now mainly pink and green) which is so faded you can forgive the mistake. Richard Kiel sports a false beard, an animal skin and a wooden club and is very taken by Marilyn Manning who faints at the very sight of him. However she comes too when Kiel starts sniffing around her (it's the perfume)and she makes him handsome by giving him a shave. To give Arch Hall Jr his due he gave up his movie career after half a dozen failed efforts and to be fair he does stand out here especially when he wears his white bathing trunks. Motown afficiandos may spot a very young Deke Richards in the band before he went on to become a prolific writer and producer for the label, unfortunately the songs here are nothing to write home about.

Move over Plan 9 and give back your crown, this has to be one of the worst films I've ever watched, and I was very drunk when I watched it, randy 7ft cavemen, magical guitars that play the bass and whistle, to a father thats dislocated his shoulder and now can't walk because of it. Please I emplore you watch it you have to!

I ordered this on Friday afternoon and received it yesterday morning, so very fast thank you :)

Filmed in Palm Springs in an exotic t desert location. Roxy (Marilyn Manning) almost runs over a man (Richard Kiel) with an enormous uh...err...club. She tells he father and tacit boyfriend Tom (Arch Hall Jr.) who of course believe her (yah sure).

The father plans to make a novel about this novel person. To do this he dawns a "Call Me Bwana" African kaki outfit with pith helmet and takes a helicopter 10 miles to mysterious Shadow Mountain. There he disappears.

To the rescue are daughter Roxy, Tom and Tom's dune buggy. Roxy gets a good look at the giants club "Eagan" and cannot get over thinking about it. The giant gets a good sniff of Roxy and cannot get over thinking about it. Will true love takes its course between beings form different ages or will it end in tragedy?

"There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of
God came unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown."

This one is a real joy to watch. I remember projecting this on real film not a digital image anywhere. If like me you support the underdog in any genre then is one you will like. See Richard Kiel playing the role of EEGAH way before he became famous. Not only that you also have Arch Hall,Jr and The Archers doing some of their classic hits too. If you ever come across a copy of the album WILD GUITAR, with Arch Hall and The Archers grab it a real treasure to have any time any place.
