Sebastion seemed so much older than his years as he's been the grown up of the family looking after his awful hopeless parents for so long, and though initially i thought i couldnt see a romance between him and caroline as being beleivable it was - much more so that i imagined but i also liked that Jane let his immaturity show through occasionally, reminding us of his age even though he acted well beyond it. I had visions of a spotty teenager but the real Sebastion was a hunk, with great maturity for his age and i could see just what attracted caroline to hhim - he was all that her husband wasn't, caring, thoughful, genuine, sensual, and really acted as a terrific lover whereas her huusband just seemed to treat her as a housekeeper and expected her to satify him sexually but ignored her needs.
I can't wait to meet the grown up sebastion in the next book!! If you love romance with erotisism this book is one to read. Its not 50 shades, no sex toys and fetshes but a beautiful sensual romance in its own right. Its 934 KB for £3.56 and as a book I'll re read its real value for money.
I was recommended this book by a friend and am so glad she did so!
The Education Of Sebastian was a brilliant story about self discovery and love.
Carolina is a 30 year old woman in a very unhappy, loveless marriage with David. He is a horrible man who hasn't the time of day for her, unless it is to order her around like a slave. And not the sexy kind of slave either!
One summer they find themselves moving back to San Diego, a place they lived when Carolina was 21. Whilst at the beach she discovers a handsome young man coming towards her as if he knows her.. Little did she know she did. It was her 8 year old neighbour grown up into a young man!
What happens next is a passionate love affair between Sebastian and Carolina. It's full of heartache, love and lots of sex.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and was rooting for Carolina and Sebastian the whole way though. They deserve their HAE.
This is the first book in a series and I can't wait for the next one to come out!
I hear that the sequel is already done but not yet ready for publication.....I can't wait!!!!!!
I had previously read one of Jane's books involving a dog owner, and absolutely loved it so I was eager to try another of her books. And though this one was written to the same standard, I'm afraid I'm the same as many others after reading - the fact that it's an older woman having illegal sex with an underage boy just ... I don't know how to respond to that. What's to stop him being 16, 15, 14 ... when does it become wrong to publish and read this? And i like to say I'm open minded - very much so - but this, just ... felt wrong..
That aside, the storyline was very well done. Meet Caroline Wilson, married at a young age in a loveless marriage to a stern, controlling member of the military whom she moves with from base to base when he is scheduled a change. Caroline's life has been swallowed up since marrying him and is then just ... disappeared. She almost ceased to exist but for wifely duties at home.
But now they've moved back to where they lived when she was younger - and enter Sebastien, who is 17 years to her 30, and whom she used mind with her Papa when they lived there previously. He remembers her - and remembers the feelings he had for her when he was just 8, that they would run away together, that she was a Princess, that he loved her ...
Trapped in her lonely marriage, and with Sebastien proclaiming his love for her, Caroline decides to take a chance even though he is only 17, and as such, completely illegal to even enter a relationship with him, nevertomind that they do actively have sex. I would so much have preferred that Sebastien was 18 - at least then he would be legal but, I do also understand that the age was 'required' in regards to his decisions for college, military, and such.Read more ›

I loved this story and really felt for the star crossed lovers. It was a real Greek tragedy of a story and I hoped that the sequel would be as good. It is!Published on 29 Mar. 2014 by LizSomerset
