Anyways, enough with the putting off, this revision guide is amazing in giving you the ground work on things before you dive into a textbook. It's much more easy on the eye and somewhat enjoyable compared to a dull and daunting textbook. Once you have had a run through your textbook and got things in more detail, this book is great on keeping what you recently learned fresh in your head as it is easy to skim through.
I'd 100% recommend this book to add to your arsenal of revision books, but please don't make the mistake many people do in thinking this is just enough. In most cases, it's not.
Oh, and also, if you register this book online, you get a free ebook on 'worked answers to exam style questions'.
This basically shows you how you'd show your working to the questions inside. This is great for helping you pick up extra marks in the exam.
I did some research on the Internet, and thought this book might be good (enough).
My first impression was: too colourful, too fancy, distractingly so.
And perhaps too wordy for my foreign students.
Today I asked them how they would rate this book.
They were very positive, and I think that's what it's all about.
One of my colleagues didn't like all these so-called 'witty' remarks at the bottom of each page, but the students love it.
My verdict: 'They' like it.
