Apart from a few childhood personal recollections of Bobby (Eddie's nephew) there is little of interest here. The writer, Bobby, is more interested in selling us his own story which is frankly not not what I paid for. Three Steps To Boredom.

I was delighted with this book. It certainly showed the side of Eddie Cochran that many of his fans didn't know. He truly was the greatest guitarist that ever lived and his Nephew told us of how he would do the riffs etc. It is an interesting book on the personal life of Eddie Cochran. He was a heavy drinker and liked the company of many ladies which probably was norm for a rock n roll icon. It is so sad that we lost this great entertainer at the age of 21 for I am sure he would have been one of those stars that lasted through the decades. I know his music goes on forever and he was one of Rock n Roll's greats!

A very good book that provides an insight into Eddies life that possibly only a family member could provide. Although a little more Eddie and a little less Bobby would be preferred. Why history hasn't been as kind to Eddie as it has to his contemporaries and friends Buddy Holly and Gene Vincent, I'll never know. Not even a star on the Hollywood walk of fame! A travesty surely? Well anyway, if you enjoy listening to Eddies music then I think you'll reading enjoy this.
