Electronic Control PanelDC12 has an electronic control panel with intelligent display and touch button technology. Manage humidity levels via a 'Touch Button' control pad with LED display allowing total control of your appliance. Set the required level via the 'Humidity Display' and benefit from other Self Diagnosis indicators such as 'Clean Me' filter indicators. Manage controlled sessions too with the convenient 2 and 4 hour timer function. |
Continuous Hose (optional)You may use the hose provided (one metre length of 14 mm diameter) for continuous drainage to a drain or sink to save emptying the tank regularly. You will need to unscrew the cap at the back of the dehumidifier, remove the rubber bung from the nozzle and attach the hose into the drain connector. |
Water TankThe DC12 has a 3.5 Litre tank capacity, positioned at the front of the dehumidifier. There is no need to move the dehumidifier when removing the tank to empty. There is a lid covering the tank to avoid spillage. To remove the water tank, slide it out gently by gripping the water tank from both sides and lift it carefully. |

Auto Restart FunctionDC12 is able to automatically restart for example, after a power failure. Once the power is restored, the DC12 will continue to operate at the previously selected settings. |
FilterFilter is easy to remove by pressing the two clips gently and pulling the filter. The filter traps dust and needs to be cleaned regularly (every 2 weeks) to keep the dehumidifier dust free. Clean by gently brushing or use a vacuum cleaner. |
Cable Tidy & CastorsDC12 comes with a power cord hanger at the back of the unit to keep the cable tidy when not in use. DC12 has easy glide castors enabling moving between rooms a simple process where there is no need for lifting. |

A faulty product that may leave you out of pocket

Initially this dehumidifier worked well. I would consider myself a light-user, using it for a couple of hours a week during winter. After 11 months it developed a fault and would display an FO (or F0) code. This meant the product wouldn't collect any water from the air. EcoAir covered the costs of returning it to be repaired. Just under 2 years after this, with even lighter use, the same fault occured again. While not legally obliged as it was outside of the 2 year warranty now, EcoAir refused to fix it again unless I paid nearly £90. Because the unit cost £130 when I purchased it, this just isn't worth the cost. It was the same fault that developed again after only light use, so I consider this very poor service from EcoAir. I'm sure they know that dehumidifiers are mostly only used in winter so when you pay £130, it should last for longer than 3 years.
