I already knew what to expect with this case, as I bought the dark-brown hemp cover when I bought my Kindle (I don't think there were other colours in this material available then). Anyway, I only use the brown one when taking the Kindle out and about (too dark for my taste but absolutely does the job protecting the Kindle)and have been using the Kindle uncased at home. But now.... saw this the other day & had to order it. Thankfully, it exceeds my expectations - the colour is perfect, there's enough white in the weave to stop the green veering into a 'sludge' green. It's true pistacio. Looks wonderful sitting about the house (as technology goes forward, you can still apply E.M. Forster's 'books do furnish a room' quote when there's an ebook cover like this about). I'm a bit concerned as to how well it'll stay looking clean; but I think the tweed effect of the hemp fabric will mean that most day to day marks won't show, and I guess any real stains can be gently sponged off. The inside is mainly faux-leather, so when reading the Kindle, if you're holding it with the front cover turned onto the back, your fingers only make contact with the faux-leather anyway. Very good stitching and finishing all around, the fabric seems slightly padded so is nice to hold and the whole cover adds very little to the weight of the Kindle (important!). Great product.
