We meet Celeste, a woman who once was an aspiring artist, who's life seems a tad stuck in a rut. She feels trapped in her current job, her love life is off due to being with the wrong man and is dealing with painful past memories. Things only get worse when her true love dies in an accident. Although he's no longer in this physical world Celeste still feels him and wonders if it's all in her imagination or if it is something more. She has to know why these things are happening.
I am a strong believer in the afterlife and the knowledge that our loved ones are always with us, so this story really captured my attention. The first part was a little tricky to wade through but once you were past that it was a very enjoyable book. I look forward to the next instalment in this series.

When I list a book in my "currently reading" category, I feel compelled to finish. I struggled to do so. I'm sure the author worked hard on this piece so I do not wish to trash her efforts. I conclude that this book just wasn't for me. My one star review is a first, let's hope it's the one and only.
I like this book, it has two parts, one ‘human’ part and the other I would like to call ‘paranormal’ part, you could try to guess which part I enjoy the most but don’t worry I’m going to tell you right away, it’s the paranormal aspect, big shock right?
My problem with the ‘human’ part is that is way too predictable, a woman working in a place she doesn’t want to work, in a relationship with a man she doesn’t love, among others, those parts were, in my opinion, unnecessary to build her character, it still works nonetheless. Now to the other part, I absolutely love it, the tension and everything those moments Celeste is having are phenomenal, plus the fact is all so fast-paced make it really like a race while you are reading, and you really don’t want to stop.
Overall this was a really nice book, if you can survive all the predictable stuff you would find something amazing, so yes, I recommend it.
This is a book I would set on the quasi paranormal with a twist of fantasy shelf, it deals with love, fate, the power of the human mind, questions of the afterlife and how our preconceived notions of all might be expanded a little more with some faith. If you read this as a simple romance novel you might not like it too much, but I think it was a good story. There were no grammar errors or sentence structural issues which was a nice touch compared to some other books I have read; so great job editing team!
