Was expecting more of a historical/factual read from this book but it seems to be more a catalogue-type book about the group's concerts and miscellaneous info. Well put together but, in my opinion, a little lacking on the depth of the factual history of the band, the backgrounds of the band members etc etc.
More photos of the keyboards would have been better. Same fault as in every music book about a band. No photos of the keyboards. Is it an Arp, is it a Farfisa Organ or a Lowrey? (It was a Farfisa 70-73) etc. Anyway theres a lot of fantastic graphic art and this must be a kind of PF-bible.
I have long been a Pink Floyd fan and this book is a work of art. It is both beautiful in design and accurate in its detail on the band. I strongly recommend it as a fantastic factual reference book. Even if you don't read it, buy it for the pictures. If you love this band, buy this book.
