My daughter who is a nutritionist and champion figure builder and motivator recommended this to me. I use the family plan so I'm eating sensibly. I'm just interested in eating healthy with no sugar/animal fat or white flour. Changing to a 6 time a day meal plan and the way it is all explained in the book helps me to maintain optimum fitness with my MS!
I have more energy and am finally drinking at least 2 litres of water a day. I am a wheelchair user and cannot exercise like a "fit" person, but do what I can and it keeps my weight stable. It delivers what it says and it's sensible!

I ordered this book together with the Eat-Clean Diet Cookbook 2. The second edition arrived just after the day I had ordered it so I have had it for a few days before this one arrived. I was extremely satisfied with the second edition and absolutely fell in love with all the recipes in there. Hence, now when the first book arrived I was actually disappointed by the content.

It still is a very good book with very useful recipes and I find it perfect for people who are struggling with starting to eat clean. The reason for this is because most of the recipes are very much pasta&grains-based. That's great if you need clean recipes for good carbs! But if you are more interested in diversifying your salads and protein rather than how to use different good carbs in your meals, the Eat-Clean Diet Cookbook 2 is a better option.

All in all, I think it is a good book by itself. However, if I would have to choose one, I would choose the second book.

I bought this book after reading many articles online regarding eating clean & I am so happy I did buy this book because I am already planning my meals for the following week because the recipes included in this book are great, quick & easy to make making this eat clean diet a simple lifestyle change.
It provides ingredients, calorie/fiber/protein etc information, alternative ingredients, notes & short sections of important information or just simple facts you may want to know.
A must have for people who want to change their eating for life and not just for the summer!

I have been interested in fitness for a few years since losing about 4 stone in weight and the Eat Clean ethos really makes sense. Fresh food, a balanced diet and examining the beneficial qualities of every food you eat combined with a good workout plan involving cardio and weights makes for a healthy lifestyle.
