Lenny Levin, has been actively involved in research and development of a new methodology for improving speedwriting, typing and computer transcription for the last 25 years. EasyScript/ ComputerScript books and courses were developed and became commercially available in 1997.

He became a recognized expert throughout the United States and won praise from major companies, institutions, and general public. He authored two U.S. patents "Method for Entering Text Using Abbreviated Word Forms" #4,760,528 and "Method of Rapid Entering of Text into Computer Equipment" #4,969,097.

The method is logical for the brain to register the abbreviations easily.
The presentation of the different sections makes the work of learning easy;
First the rules about short words and long words; then prefix; then suffixes.
I have done this in two days. Very clear.
With this method, I shall be able to take the minutes at my meetings in an efficient manner. It is very professional, based on letters, no special signs to learn. It is adaptable to all words long and short. It will make your note taking very easy, and fairly easy to re-read. Worth buying it.

This is a really quick and easy method of shorthand. I've tried other shorthand methods that use various signs and symbols, and have them difficult to remember. But Easyscript uses a logicial method that makes perfect sense, and is easy to relate to. I must recommend this book to anyone who wishes to learn an uncomplicated method of shorthand in minimal time.

I have to say that I was very disappointed in this book, I had read so many good reports about how easy this book is to learn shorthand. I take minutes at work and don't want to learn the standard shorthand due to it being like learning a foreign language and liked the idea of using abbreviated words. When I got this book there is no list of words and how to abbreviate them. All we have the book talking about different words but not showing you how to incoporate this.

Easyscript - Practice Makes Perfect

It took me about 7 hours to understand and feel confident using Easyscript. I read through the the book once, doing all the exercises then re-doing them until I felt totally comfortable.

It is very logical system and therefore easy to use and a lot of the abbreviations used are ones I've always been using. I am really impressed with this form of speedwriting.
