About the Author
Tara Fraser has been practising yoga since she was six years old. In 2000, she opened her own yoga school in north London. She is the author of two other yoga books for DBP, including Yoga for You.

The book takes one through 20 easy poses and explains how they should be done, and how to do the breathing and meditation that are both an integral part of doing yoga successfully. Anyone can do these poses. Doing them regularly will help you to gradually improve so that you can then start to add newer and more difficult exercises. Also, not being obsessive about it and not pushing oneself too hard will keep you enjoying it and prevent you feeling like it is a chore.
All in all, highly recommended for anyone who has never done yoga before, and/or wants to use yoga for improved fitness.
