Before you spend your money please be aware that this book is written extremely poorly; in real pages it wouldn't even take up 30 pages, i.e. a short pdf document and the recipes are no more intricate than something you will find on blogs. The book lacks any sort of structure and wasn't edited even by the writer by the looks of it.

4.0 out of 5 stars useful information 14 Sept. 2012

This is a nice collection of beauty treatments you can make at home. Many of them I have used for years and there were some new ones I will try. Just got some castor oil from Amazon.com and am trying different ways to use it as beauty product. Next, I will attack the moles with it. They will either leave or it wll make their coats shiney.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not What I expected 26 Jan. 2013

I purchased because I was searching for new recipes and found the same in this book as many other books offered.

2.0 out of 5 stars Badly written 14 Oct. 2012
By Jenny - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
I can't say anything about the remedies in the book, because I haven't tried any of them yet.

I can say that it does not seem to have been proof-read at all. Every page has multiple grammatical errors. This is from the introduction, and is pretty typical:

"Lemon masks and even simple rubbing lemon juice & mineral water in to the scalp help for people with oily hair, make it light and give an additional volume.

Parker, Alice (2012-08-28). Homemade Hair Remedies: Natural Recipes and Tips (Kindle Locations 80-83). . Kindle Edition."

I'm glad I got it when it was free.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not edited, poorly written, very short, lacking any structure 21 Jan. 2013
By hkatsonga - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
The book is extremely short, poorly written, not edited in any way, lacking in structure, has zero references and is a general waste of money. You won't find anything here that isn't freely available on many blogs.
