Product Description

Review

As a player, you could not wish for a better captain or leader. --Stephen Jones

Simon has done a lot for Llanelli and Irish rugby and has consistently been at the forefront of both teams efforts in what is a demanding position in an extremely attritional sport --Ronan O'Gara

He goes out there and puts his body on the line, and that is why he commands so much respect from his fellow players --Warren Gatland

About the Author

Born in Yorkshire to an English father and an Irish mother, he was educated at the prestigious Ampleforth College where his love for the game of rugby football began. Having retired from playing in 2010, Simon now coaches for the Scarlets and is as passionate as ever about the game. This is an honest autobiography by one of the most popular forwards to have played the sport in Wales someone who has much to say about the Welsh and Irish professional game.

A very interesting read. Much as I had admired him as a player and leader I didn't know that he was from the same Easterby family as the horse trainers.
