This expensive, fragrant, jar packaged emollient rich cream is best for dry to very dry skins not prone to sensitivity. It has a very thick heavy texture and a quite basic formula containing mostly Vaseline, plant oil and lanolin. It lacks skin-repairing, antioxidants, and cell-communicating ingredients. It is also let down by the addition of added fragrance and fragrant ingredients, which could pose problems if you have a sensitive skin. Today this lacks the sophisticated formula and elegant texture you would associate with a cream at this price point.

This stuff is heavy and thick; it comes with a tiny spoon for scooping it out, and takes so little of it to cover an entire face that I expect it'll last a year which is certainly something to consider when contemplating the cost. Plus, it made my mom really happy, so for me, it was worth every penny!
