This was a punt, the headphones looked pretty decent so the main issue for me was the Mic.
Anyway, it arrived, and for such a low cost headset it was packaged really well and looked the part.
After plugging the headset in on the PC the first thing that hit me was how good the audio is for such a pair, it has deep bass, good middles and highs. You would think these would be a good £30-£45 pair easily. They are quite clampy on your head, but not too much so they hurt.
You can still hear some background noise (if your partner or kid is chatting near you) and I prefer that.
So the biggest test was to come.. The Mic. I joined Discord and immediately started chatting, they could instantly tell it was a new Mic, but I didn't tell them the headset or price. The boys were baffled. They were expecting (well cos of what I normally pay for stuff) my new "cheap pair" to be £50+ with the mic clarity, they literally couldn't belive how much I paid.
So, provided they actually hold up for a year or even two these are possibly one of the best buys around, I'm actually legitimately shocked at the build and sound quality compared to my Logitech.
With a few refinements and a USB audio card I could see some big brand trying to charge you £70 for a pair of these... I jest not.
It's not very often ill add a video of the reviews I do, but after getting bits out the box and seeing what I had gotten the missus for £17 I put it all back in and video's away.
Oh, and incase someone was wondering, the missus really likes them too. She said they sound great for music and her friends can hear her clearer than the last set so all good!
