We have 2 children, each has had a Bestie watch for a few years now
They have both had 2x Bestie 2 watches each and now have a Bestie 3 watch each
The biggest problem with the Bestie 2 was going abroad
We went abroad and the watches froze. One of them eventually started working again, but the other failed despite numerous factory resets etc
We contacted you and you could not help us fix it
We then decided to buy them both a Bestie 3 each as a gift to start the new school year with
Ever since owning the Bestie 3 watches they have been awful
1. The app which is different to the Bestie 2 app is not as user friendly
2. One huge annoyance from me is that I can’t be logged in to both children at once, I have to log in and out to see each child’s activity
3. They are unreliable in terms of maintaining the correct time. My daughters will jump to a different time and the year 2000 every now and again
4. They are unreliable in terms of the step count function… they just do not register correctly - only show c200 per day – the old Bestie 2’s used to show 15-20,000 steps per day
5. The GPS positioning is carp compared to the Bestie 2 watches. The Bestie 2 would update loads through the day and I could guarantee the position within a matter of feet, the Bestie 3 is really really worthless
6. The ‘monitoring mode’ is a complete con now… instead of me dialng them on my free minutes, they now dial me back incurring crazy fee’s

EACH TIME I TRY TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE FOR HELP I get a generic reply with instructions, then it’s hit and miss whether I get a reply, and nobody as actually successfully helped me!!!!!!!!!!

Location Information
The Bestie has full real-time GPS tracking which links to the free Aibeile app that you can download and install through any IOS or Android smartphone or tablet. You can then monitor where your child is, all from your smartphone. The Bestie has historical track footprint information from any given date so you can retrospectively look back and see where the Bestie has been and the route it took. You can add a geo-fence around a specific area like a school or park and if the Bestie leaves that area you will be alerted through your application.
Voice Monitoring and listen in
Listen-in Technology allows the parent to silently call the Bestie, force answer and then listen-in to the child’s surroundings using the application. Giving peace of mind to the parent and the ability if needed to interrupt and guide their child and tell them to come home. In serious circumstances the listen in function can be used to monitor the child’s surroundings without alerting any threats, all while the parent tracks the child safely and discreetly to their location.
Keep in Contact with your Bestie via phone or texting
The Bestie 3 is a Smartwatch with GPS tracking. It has a phone function with text messaging and two way voice calling, it has an extra long battery life, super fast connection enabling ultra accurate location information and a "Bestie friends" walkie talkie function to keep your child engaged but not obsessed and able to focus on the world around them.

Really happy with it despite reservations over the generally poor reviews

I wanted to be able to track my daughter to and from school and have a means by which to communicate without an 8 yr old having a smart phone. This has met my expectations and does the job. Accuracy is not 100% but it does it enough to make it worth having. I'm delighted with it and my daughter loves the fact that she can message me, her Dad and Grandma. You can add more but that's all we need. *Update I recently contacted Bestie as we needed a new watch strap, I found communication quick and easy and a new one was popped in the post next day. I'm very happy and will be even happier once I can figure out how to change the watch strap :) They sent x2 straps and a little tool and spare pins so very happy. Really don't get the poor reviews as I've been more than satisfied with the service, including after sales service and my daughter now a year older, still loves her watch. Happy to recommend to friends, which I've done and continue to do.

Useless just don’t!

This is a complete lemon from receiving a v3 when the advertised watch was the v4 to being unable to download the instructions from their website - neither version. Even that is unclear as one isn’t aware of what ‘version’ to download as it doesn’t align with the watch version. I figured out how to set it up from the iPhone app eventually which is clearly geared at a Chinese market and been altered for English markets rather than properly done. After one day of use, the watch froze and was not useable at all for positioning or calls. Restarting just came back to the same frozen error screen. After 24 hours the watch unfroze. As soon as we tried to use anything the watch froze again with the same error. The ‘support’ is NOT available at all even though it indicates in the description that is is available mon to sat. It is done via email and you get no reply. The sales number on their website is out of order. I called amazon support and despite the chap’s best efforts he couldn’t help at all and had the same problem with the sales phone number as I did. I waited a further 24 hours to wipe all my data and then returned it. I was very hopeful with having read several of the reviews. STAY AWAY you will waste your time and money. I have bought my son a Fitbit and a cheap phone to walk to school and track his steps.
