This is a review of EBL 4 Packs AA to C Battery Converters, AA to C Battery Adapter Holders
Here we have a four pack of hard plastic "spacers" that turn a AA battery into a C type battery.
I generally use rechargeable batteries and try to keep to AA and AAA, for which I have a charger. In the past I've used AAA to AA, and AA to D adapters very successfully.
Unfortunately these AA to C spacers are a bit rubbish. They do not fully enclose the battery - I think this is because a C battery is the same length as an AA one.
That would be fine if the spacer gripped the AA battery, but it doesn't. I needed to fit 4 C batteries into a battery compartment and the AA batteries were simply sliding out of the spacer. Much swearing.
These would be great if they were a bit tighter and gripped the AA battery in place. They don't and so are really annoying.

Great idea but check the geometry of your intended appliance, mine won't work

Bought to power a cassette radio which takes four D cells and has large springs at the minus end, reasonably expecting to contact the base of a large D cell. The base of an AA cell is too small and the spring does not connect. Likewise at the top end, the appliance offers a single metal piece to connect with the width of the D cell plus terminal, but the terminal on this is much narrower, and with play it does not connect reliably. It simply does not work. For this purpose, zero stars, but given two because it might work for yours.
