I read 'Dying to be Me' by Anita Moorjani after hearing her speak and was deeply moved by her story. (David Hamilton PhD., author of 'How Your Mind Can Heal Your Body')
The eloquent simplicity of Anita's message has attracted hundreds of thousands of followers: Love yourself. Be true. You are magnificent. (Kindred Spirit)
About the Author
Anita Moorjani, the author of Dying to Be Me, was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and doctors told her family she was just hours away from death. It was at this point that she 'crossed over' and then returned again into this world with a clearer understanding of her life and purpose on earth. This understanding subsequently led to a total recovery of her health.
Anita was born in Singapore of Indian parents, moved to Hong Kong at the age of two, and has lived in Hong Kong most of her life. Because of her background and British education, she is multi-lingual and, from the age of two, grew up speaking English, Cantonese and two Indian dialects simultaneously, and later learned French at school.
She had been working in the corporate field for many years before being diagnosed with cancer in April of 2002. Her fascinating and moving near-death experience in early 2006 has tremendously changed her perspective on life. Her work is now ingrained with the depths and insights she gained while in the other realm. She works on the premise that our inner world (consciousness) is our primary reality, and if our internal state is healthy and strong, then our external world will align itself and fall into place as a result.

However, I do not agree with every opinion given, as Anita speaks from the perception she experienced which isn't necessarily the entire 'story'. There are many levels of perception which is why people having an NDE differ in their perceptions (or assumptions) about the spirit dimensions. Most are basically good people, so they attune accordingly and are far less likely to see that there are less progressed realms in spirit life. Such dimensions are reported in many spirit communicated books, such as those by Anthony Borgia.
But, as I have said, overall, Anita's book is well worth reading.
The message of the book is so simple, that we are pure love and beyond this realm is a realm of pure love, a place of non judgement. Anita has brought this message from her near death experience to us so that we can live with this understanding...to love ourselves unconditionally.
This is an excellent book to find out who we really are - an eternal spirit clothed in physical form for a moment in time to learn, experience and grow before returning home a greater light than when we arrived. I fully recommend it.
