What a rollorcoaster ride to the end, some laughter, some tears, some scary bits ( as ever!) and some light and tender moments. Looking back to the first book, how much more confident Perry is and how Dex has changed, grown into himself. Its that they're a team, work on each others strenths and weaknesses, that make them so good together and you can feel their love. Agfter all they've been through to get this far they deserve it.
This picks straight up from the last book and plunges everyone - inclding Ada and Perry's parents - into danger. Michael has come calling, and he's got Dex and Perry in his sights, and doesn't care who gets taekn down along the way...there's some real tearjerking monents in store....

I love this series, its been a fabulous journey with Dex and Perry. To think I almost missed it as I didn't think it was a series for me! I'm a wimp, so anything with a horror tag tends to get passed by, and the first book sat on my kindle for ages, I'd got it as it was free but...kept putting off reading it. Finally plucked up courage and found it was very different to what I'd imagined and LOVED it - bought the rest and have been waiting anxiously for this one. I'm torn between being happy they finally got a resolution and a HEA - they've been through so much together - and then again, no more Dex and Perry :-(
Still, Karina is one of my favourite authors and I've bought more of her other books now too - and I'm sure she'll have plans for another series to hook us devotees in!
One thing I have to say - a HUGE thanks Karina from readers who love that you don't take ages - years for some authors - between books. The quality of writing is always excellent, and yet she turns out books after just a few months - this series hasn't taken long, not sure when Darkhouse was first out but I bought it ( free!) in december 13, and there's been over a dozen in the series including the novellas...along with some other fantastic books.

Wow this finale blew me away!! Amazing end to the series!!

The final chapter of one of my all time favorite series! if anyone has thought about this series but been put off by the title or the urban fantasy / parnormal / horror genre, I urge you to give this seriees a chance! You wont regret it

This book picks up straight where Ashes to Ashes left off, so its fast paced right from the start. This book leaves behind the internet-series construct which has provided the structure for the previous 8 books. This time Dex and Perry don't go searching for the paranormal with their cameras in tow, this time the evil will find them and target Perrys family.

The ghost hunting series angle was one of the things that drew me to this series (then KH kickass writing style and characters kept me hooked) but I have to say, I am so glad it was left behind for this final installment as it allowed Karina to take things up a gear.

Without giving too much away..this book takes us into the Thin-Veil more than any before, and some of the imagery KH used for these parts was creep-tacular!!
I was reading this book when I heard the tragic news about Robin Williams, the entire arc of the thin-veil part reminded me so much of one of my favourite RW movie - What Dreams May Come.
An incredible concept for a film or book and brilliantl tackled by KH - it really fulfilled the potential of all the world building from the previous books, and took it exactly where I had hoped!

The EIT series has been a roller coaster from start to finish. I downloaded the first book for free not expecting much. But my god I'm so glad I did.
The story has kept me hooked... Waiting for each book to come out has been torture and knowing dust to dust was the final book made me sad. I picked it up not knowing what to expect, thinking maybe it would be an anti climax to the series....BUT it was the perfect ending, it made me laugh, it made me cry and everything in between! If you haven't read any of the experiment in terror books, get them all downloaded now, you will not regret it I promise you that.
Can honestly say this series has been one of the best I have ever read! I feel like I know the characters.
Karina Halle you have done all us EIT fans proud Hun xx
Team Derry always :)

Sorry, just had to! For the fans of Experiment in Terror and Slayer, it fits the book so well!
I have fallen in love with Perry, in lust and love with Dex and have to say a massive thanks to the author for everything! I will miss these two loads but look forward to following Ada in her stories.
Loved every book!

Abolutely gutted this series has finished as I loved every single one of them but a brilliant way to end a fab series, finished this in one afternoon even though was trying to drag it out as I didnt want it to end but could not stop reading! will miss Dex and Perry so much! Only started this series a few months ago and demolished them all in time for the last Dust to Dust. Honestly was slightly dubious as I'm not that keen on horror romance books but these blew me away, I AM CONVERTED and cannot get enough of this genre. Will be recommending this to anyone who listens. Bring on Karinas next book!
