Very cheap but just what I need!

Having bought this product, i was extremly happy with the service and the speed that it was sent to me. It does exactly what it says on the tin really - pop it in your mini usb connector on your phone and then plug in your own earphones the other end.
My warning though to any potential buyers - This is a very cheap product. After about 5 uses, the wire has been torn away! I will be buying another as there are very few products like this available but this time I will be wrapping the whole thing in black cable tape.

Works fine on my HTC Touch Pro. Insert the adapter and the 'headphones' icon appears on the screen. When playing music/films, the sound comes out in stereo and clearly from my attached headphones.

Worked Great!!... for a while

Prompt delivery, no noticeable loss in sound quality and then it went downhill. It started only playing in one of my earphones (my earphones worked great on my computer and laptop) then it started going really quiet for short spaces of time so I would turn up the volume to max only for it to stop playing quietly and me to be deafened.

Then it started to get sensitive to movement. They would stop working temporarily for 10 or so seconds after a slight bump, it got to the stage where every time I put my right foot down when walking it would stop. This ment I only heard half the song as it would play for 2 seconds and stop for 2 seconds as I walked which I tell you is a lot more annoying than it sounds.
Finally after two weeks of me battling to get it working it gave up. I heard a click through my headphones and it has not made a sound since depite my best efforts except for the dull thud of it landing in my bin.

I used it for between 30 minutes to 3 hours a day probably averaging around 1.5-2 hours a day (yes I am probably going deaf but I keep the volume low on my phone) meaning that I got between 21 to 28 hours use out of it.

If you only require it to work for two weeks then this is the product for you. If you require a product that lasts a bit longer then look elsewhere.

I have given this product two stars, one for each week it worked.

Exactly what it says on the tin

Good quality item at cheap price - arrived faster than expected and works exactly as expected. No problems with the shape or size of the usb - it fits my HTC fine

I was a little worried about the adapter being recognized by my device (HTC Touch) properly so that the headphone lead could be used as FM Radio arial - pleased to say there were no problems and it all works fine.

I can now use any headphones with my new phone so very pleased

Delivery and price were excellent and intially the product seems perfect until the cheap wiring comes apart. Lasted around two weeks before coming to bits. If you do buy one, put tape around the wire to connector join and it might last a bit longer, if not, save your money and wait for the Cupcake update and save up for some bluetooth stereo headphones.

Have received 2 of these (first was faulty so requested a replacement - which did turn up promptly), however the insulation has come away from the USB connection on both of these. Poorly manufactured. Will be trying one of the official HTC connectors

Hi,
I wanted to buy a cable that connects my google g1 android to my speakers so I can listen to my music on the external speakers. This cable does exactly that. This gives output from the g1 and I have to buy another 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable to connect to my speakers. I ordered the product on Tuesday and got it delivered on Thursday.

Be careful about what sort of mini-usb connector you have

This is very cheap, but note that there are different sorts of mini-usb sockets (and you are not warned about this) - this is NOT a mini-B one (with two bevelled corners). Also, the returns policy means it will cost you far more to return it if it turns out to be wrong.
