Duracell Pre-Charged rechargeables are the latest in battery technology offering the best of both worlds. Ready to use from the pack and rechargeable 300 times. Duracell Pre-Charged batteries have a very low self-discharge, meaning they retain 95% of their charge in the pack for up to 12 months. Duracell's DURALOCK technology prevents them from losing power. It also guarantees last for 5 years or 300 recharges, whichever comes first. This huge leap forward in battery technology has been made possible by improvements in the purity of ingredients and upgrades to the construction of the battery cell meaning less power is lost when in storage.

I would emphasise, do not buy Duracell assuming that they are the best; their name on a battery doesn't mean it will be good. However, the 2000mah Staycharged (if white top and made in Japan version), and these new 2400mah made in Japan dark grey top Duralock cells are genuinely the top on the market right now, being re-branded eneloop/eneloop pro/XX cells.
The Staycharged white tops have 1000-1500 charge cycles and 2000mah capacity, whereas these Duralock's have 2400mah capacity (20% more) and only 500 charge cycles (50-66% less). If you want top capacity go for these, if you want greater longevity go for the 2000mah Staycharged ones.
I needed some reliable rechargeable batteries for my flash gun (Nikon Pro 910's). I have tried generic brands and found they did not hold their charge for very long even though they claimed to be much better than these Duracell's.
Straight out of the packet these have given me over 250 flashes which is much better than I had been getting using better specified generic ones (2900Ah ones). It looks like you get what you pay for and these are expensive but will last so I will buy more of these for my flashguns.
These are also guaranteed by Duracell for 5 years which is a bonus. Excellent batteries and well worth the extra money over the generic rechargeable I had previously.
Just to mention the Amazon marketplace seller sent them using 24 hour signed delivery
and were very well packed. Very good service from Babz Media and as they were delivered in under 24 hours great service too. I have no hesitation in recommending them and I will certainly be using them again for my batteries.
They wouldn't fit into the battery housing because of the size difference and have had to force the batteries in hard. This may only depend on the item you are putting the batteries in. However can see similar problems with cameras for example.
Performance is top notch and ideal for high drain devices such as flashguns. I suggest using a quality charger for these batteries rather than dumb chargers to maximise battery life. I generally use Maha, Technoline and La Crosse chargers as these will monitor each individual cell during charging, hence they will prevent overcharging.
They are very good, far exceeding my expectations! They arrive pre-charged and the first use lasted much longer than Duracell Ultra, lasting for more than two days out with my camera. Then after recharging in a Duracell charger Brand New. Duracell Multi Battery Charger 6-8hrs Capacity 8x AA or 8xAAA 4xC 4xD and 1x9V Batteries Ref 75044676 they lasted just as long again. Just those two uses, made them good value compared to disposable batteries, but after another two recharges they lasted even longer (something that several other reviewers have noticed too). If they continue to be this good for a year or two they will end up saving a large amount of money, as well as being much less wasteful than disposables.
I originally bought a pack of 8, followed by another pack of 8,and have now returned to buy another pack of 4, so that I now use them in everything I own that takes AA batteries. I highly recommend these 2400mAh batteries, especially for cameras.
These do appear to be genuine Duracell batteries and are rated at 2500mAh, which is a very decent capacity, not the highest but well up on what we were all buying a few years ago. Many of my older batteries (10 years plus and still working in some cases) are rated at 1300mAh or less, so these are getting on for double the capacity.
They arrive supposedly fully charged, but I left them in a charger for a while and then put them in a pretty high brightness torch. The results were excellent, they look to hold their voltage well, unlike my older rechargeables, where I'm lucky to get close to the label voltage even when fully charged. Capacity wise, I've not run any exacting tests, but they have certainly lasted well so far. I supposed in a perfect world I'd stick a meter charger on to see how much capacity they take, and if they were a seriously expensive set I probably would go to this trouble. But for a couple of pounds a battery I have to confess to really not being that bothered, they appear to work better than the old ones they replace and that is sufficient for me.
As to their long term capabilities, I will try to remember to update my review in a few months, for now I award them 4 stars as they are very worthy of purchase. A five star award will be dependent on their long term performance.

Already fully charged out of the packet. Seem to last a long time compared to other brands.
