Great book! Absolutely brilliant rivision tool as well even reading alongside Blackstones whilst studying. Breaks down key concepts in a more understandable way and is actually probably the first textbook I've had that doesn't put me to sleep!

My only reason for giving it 4* is that it is out of date. I couldn't find a newer version that takes into consideration recent law changes (maybe I didn't look hard enough) but if there's a 2016/17 edition, BUY IT!

This is the second and last time that I re-write this review. This book and its author goes up and up in my estimations. With admirable depth, brevity and relevance it thematically brings to life a dull and lifeless subject with the BPTC criminal exam firmly in mind.

Its nicely detailed, more so than the Be civil, and Virginia Dunn has a way of writing that makes it flow easily and not strenuous on the eyes (or brain).

It is a bit dated, so one will have to be alert between the syllabus and what is in the book. Apart from that it is still one of the best criminal litigation revision books out there. I would not have received such a high grade for Criminal Litigation without it.
