They're also roomy - in fact feeling much bigger than a size 11. That means I can easily use boot warmers during the cold months of the year. We spend a lot of time in a farming environment and so my boots get daily wear, which means I don't expect them to last as long as I would if they got normal domestic use - but, so far, they are much better than those I've owned in the last five or six years.
I happily recommend them based on my current experience of them.
I bought these on October 2 last year - they split in the sole this morning (March 5). As I said, they get used every day (sometimes twice a day) - and I do mean every day. So I used them at least 154 times and probably closer to 200. If you're a once-a-week user, then that equates to 3+ years of wear. That's not bad, really.
Comfortable and of course completely waterproof.
My dog appreciates them too as we can now go walkies even on the wettest days.
The last rubber (expensive) wellies I had didn't split, but wore out very quickly, so I'm not sure what is the better buy although online reviews for Hunter wellies in particular now generally slate them, since production was transferred to China..
Looking through the range of wellies on Amazon, quite a few labelled as being made of rubber, based on price, are presumably actually plastic, probably PVC - natural or man-made rubber is expensive.
I use them to walk to and from University which is 80 minutes all together. They keep my feet really warm and dry through the rain and puddles. I wear them with skinny jeans and tights and they actually look quite cool.
The right welly seems to pinch my ancle ever so slightly. This may just be that it is rubbing on an old blister from some devil boots I recently bought so hopefully once the blister is gone it won't be a problem. I'll comment to update this further. That is the only reason I am giving 4 stars in stead of 5.
I wear them with a thick pair of socks and these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00A3UNY28/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which is lovely!

They are the usual Wellington boot fit, order a size smaller than you would for trainers. Good product, quick delivery, no problems.Published 1 month ago by Alan
These are as basic as a welly could get. No frills. They are waterproof, they fit exactly as expected, they are cheap. Then again, what more would you need?Published 2 months ago by Call Me Al
