Be sure to read the description. NO padding is supplied with this version - if you want a useful drone rucksack look the Drone Max Ultimate Universal Quadcopter Case Backpack (Black / Green). This version is just an empty rucksack. To be fair, the description does state that original drone packing is to be used. I only paid a tenner for it in the sale so I can afford to rig up some decent packing. Not worth the full price.

I've increased the star rating as it can do the job if you have kept the packaging from your quadcopter. Heres a few pics of the rucksack with the packaging from a dpi phantom 3

I have been looking for a backpack for me to carry my GoPro equipment when travelling, I looked at loads of types of packs from ones especially designed for the GoPro and generic camera packs, but the main thing I wanted was a backpack where all my accessories were accessible in one, I didn't want to have to unpack everything to get to what I wanted.

I decided for the time being to go for a backpack designed for a drone as I knew it would be large enough for all my accessories and that the opening would be large enough that I could see everything at a glance.

This backpack is made of a strong nylon and offers loads of storage, on the front of the pack there is a large zipped pocket which measures nine inches wide by 12 inches deep, next is a zipped organiser compartment with a net zipped pocket this measures twelve inches deep by ten and a half inch wide, on the other side there are six pockets, a netted pocket which measures twelve inches wide by six inches deep, a zipped pocket which measures five inches by three and a half inches, next is two pockets for pens, a pocket that measures six inches by four and a half inches and a larger pocket that measures twelve inches wide by six inches deep.

The main backpack compartment has a zip that allows for you to open around eighty percent of the bag for easy access and a usable internal measurement of approx seventeen inches wide by twenty inches high and five inches deep.

The back of the backpack has the normal shoulder straps which have half a 5mm padding (adequate for carrying a drone) there is also two padded areas for your shoulder blades and a larger padded area which will go across the base of your back.

This backpack is a great, budget way to keep your drone safe and protected whilst you transport it, and a handy way of carrying your drone to the flight destination. I have a Phantom 3 4K and I just transferred the cardboard insert of the box out came in, into this bag and it works perfectly. I can then keep this handy and whenever I need to fly the drone, I just grabs this bag and it's ready to go. All blades, remote, spares etc fit in too and there's room for a couple of extra bits if you wanted to use this as a backpack on a short walk. I took it on a 3-4 mile walk with a drinks bottle, a bit of food and a jacket inside the bag too.

The straps and zips all feel sturdy enough and although I haven't ever really hammered the bag (it does have a drone inside after all!) I feel confident it will last.

I haven't ever taken this bag out in the rain, but I suspect it will not be waterproof. If the cardboard insert from your original box got wet, I imagine that it might start to deform and not work so well, so I wouldn't recommend using this bag in anything but very light rain. Again, you probably wouldn't be flying your drone in the rain anyway!

You can pay more for slightly more compact, purpose made bags with padded interior (this bag is thin and has no padding) and I guess it depends on how much you use your drone. I use mine occasionally as a hobby and therefore this bag is exactly what I need. If you're a professional videographer who is out on shoots every day with your drone, you'll probably want something a little more padded and compact.

This backpack is excellent value for money. As per the description it's just a plain rucksack inside and out and uses the existing cardboard moulded packaging from the dji phantom 3.

It's got plenty of space for the drone and packaging and a few extras too. I unpicked the drone icon badge which featured on the outside.

The dimensions in the product description for this are way too small. Based on them there's no way the box my drone arrived in should fit but it does.....with room to spare. You're underselling this product!! It's excellent.

I bought this for my Eachine 250 Racing Quad, the backpack itself is made well but there is no support for the quad inside. It is just a backpack and not designed especially for Drones. it does hold a lot of equipment, I have my 250, Taranis Radio, Headplay goggles, tools and batteries. I also use the straps on the side to hold my folding chair, extremely handy for all this kit!!.

As others have said, this is a floppy case with no inserts, you must use the eggbox type packaging from your Phantom, which fits snugly.
That leaves a space that I've filled with a plastic"Really Useful" type box (5 litre) to hold batteries, props etc.
Quite happy with it.
