"Spare Parts" and "Fleisch" are the same films. Mike and Monica spend their honeymoon at a dive motel in New Mexico. Mike is absconded in an ambulance while Monica gets away. With the help of a truck driver...

The title "Spare Parts" takes the mystery out of the film. The spare parts type film was popular in the 70's and this one was perhaps the least in the group. Available on 50 DVD packs.

Guide: nudity (Jutta Speidel)

For this price you can't go wrong, 50 complete films, some brilliant and some not so good but everyone has different tastes anyway. The box is very nicely done, the DVDs are in individual black sleeves and you get a booklet detailing each film in order, the case is not much wider than 2 standard DVD cases so is a great space saver.
No modern Hollywood garbage is included so if you have wide ranging tastes you will find much to enjoy in this set.

I purchased the 50 and the 100 horror box sets and i thought they were brilliant so i bought this one some of the movies in this set are on the 100 horror classics but the rest of the movies are ok a lot of them are from the 70s/80s and like the other box sets the quality looks like vhs overall i would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the genre.

5.0 out of 5 stars By far, the weirdest Mill Creek set 25 Nov. 2013
By Kevin Turvey - Published on Amazon.com
Format: DVD Verified Purchase
I'm hooked on these 50-movie Mill Creek/Treeline dvd sets. I own 14 and plan to own many more! They are an unbeatable mix of the unexpected, the silly, the rare, and the hilarious. These are bad movies - possibly the best/worst of the bad movies - all at once, mixed up in a bucket, about 4 movies for $1.

Yes, the video quality is mixed. Yes, most of these seem to be transferred from VHS sources. Yes, an annoying "Mill Creek" logo pops up onscreen sometimes. Yes, some movies are edited, and yes, sometimes the sound quality isn't ideal. If any of this bothers you, do not buy a 50-movie pack. You will need to pay a little more for individual dvds.

**NOTE my copy of this set has a different cover and plastic box. It didn't come with a descriptive booklet. There may be differences in the versions.**

"Drive-In Classics" is awesome! It is the strangest Mill Creek set that I own. Plenty of bad, strange, single-idea, personal, cheap, silly, and inexplicable films. Lots of "you have to see it to believe it". Overall the movies are mostly color, '60s-'80s, full of action and horror and violence. Many Italian and Spanish films. Several "blaxploitation" type things. Not many well-known actors.

"Rattlers" is a horror movie about snakes, just snakes, lots and lots of snakes. "Don't Open Til Christmas" is a British slasher about a guy who kills anyone dressed like Santa Claus, making for a busy holiday season. "Spare Parts" is about organ-harvesters-for-profit working out of an old ambulance, and "Breakout From Oppression" is a murky and twisted Chinese mystery from the 70s. "Black Hooker" is a cheesy morality play, and "Savage Journey" turns out to be a propaganda piece for the Mormons. "TNT Jackson" has a nude fight scene (with afros!). Nearly every film here ends with a chase- maybe a car chase, maybe a boat chase, maybe a monster truck chase. In fact the movie "Hot Pursuit" is more or less nothing BUT chases (car, truck, plane, motor home...). Gunfire galore. Fight scene upon fight scene. Heaving bosoms. Fatal falls, unlikely impalings, and unexpected beheadings. Occasional zombies, pirates, and cannibals. Endless fun!

Few truly "good" films here. Verhoven's early "Katie's Passion" is excellent, and Mickey Rooney as "The Manipulator", in a horrible way, is unforgettable. I really enjoyed the anarchic sketch comedy "Prime Time" (aka "American Raspberry"), and also "Absolution", which pits Richard Burton against Scottish comic Billy Connolly to win the hearts and minds of murderous young prep school boys. But mostly, these are BAD movies. Wonderfully horrible movies. The kind of bad movies you want to show to your friends.

Most of these are gory, and many are at least PG-13 so this is NOT a set for young kids. Also, there is a lot of offensive stereotyping and a whole lot of ugly language. This is one of the more "adult" Mill Creek sets.

There aren't many repeats here from other Mill Creek sets: "Single Room Furnished", "Prisoners of the Lost Universe", and probably others. Look at the listing before buying.

Overall, if you like strange trash, this is a terrific buy. A few movies are dull but most have at least a few laughs. I think it's the "coolest" Mill Creek set, an endless treasure trove of bizarro action. I love it!

4.0 out of 5 stars So Much Fun! Wonderful Collection! 7 Oct. 2015

Nice set! DVD video quality is fine. Lots of fun films in this set!! Boris Karloff, Christopher Lee, Richard Burton, Jack Palance, John Carradine, Richard Harrison, Mickey Rooney, Vincent Price, Jane Mansfield, Ursula Andress and more are in this set!! Who could ask for more in a 50-pack horror movie set?!

I'm not disappointed with the purchase!! There are a few bad films in the collection along with some decent films... that is to be expected.

5.0 out of 5 stars 50 Movies. Dang ol Dang. 30 July 2016

Heaps of movies. Dirt Cheap. Decent dvd box with 12 dvds each in a paper holder.

I've watched Twisters Revenge so far and it was bad but enjoyable.

We went to the drive-ins in all summer in the 80's and some of these are a blast from the past.

The Creeper was a favorite. Night Train To Terror is fun. TNT Jackson is action. Watch one a week and this is good for a year.

4.0 out of 5 stars Tons of films for a cheap price. Use it as a primer to make decisions on whether you should buy the stand-alone releases. 18 Feb. 2015
By Fred Adelman - Published on Amazon.com

Well you know you aren't getting super clear presentations when 50 films are shown on 12 DVDs, but this collection contains enough good and lesser-known horror and exploitation films than most other Mill Creek collections. I bought the collection to see JIVE TURKEY; TRAUMA; SAVAGE WEEKEND (a favorite which will soon get a Blu-Ray release from Scorpion Releasing/Kino Lorber Films); and THE DEVIL WITH SEVEN FACES. There is plenty to watch on this set, especially if you are a novice to genre films. I hope the scan I attach will give you an idea what films are on the set.
