Not enough to knock my confidence with gas irons, I spent a few hours reading reviews on this product before buying it.
It comes with a range of accessories, such as a storage tin for small components, soldering sponge, some pretty high quality electrical solder, a plastic protective cap for the tool, and even a range of tips for soldering, cutting, heating and even wood burning/pyrography. The set includes two different sized spanners for changing and securing the various tips.
This tool can even be used with an open flame. This would be especially useful for plumbing jobs where a blowtorch might be needed.
I'm not sure what the average burn time will be on one tank of gas, as this will be largely dependent on the tips being used and the heat setting selected, but around 90 minutes was achieved while soldering earlier today. It's worth noting at this stage that butane gas seems quite hard to come by these days. Where I live, anyways. I eventually found a petrol station 5 miles away that stocks it. Might be readily available elsewhere, but it's something to bear in mind when considering a gas tool purchase.
It's done me well so far, and although a few of the tips glow orange when in use (something never experienced with my Iroda iron) I have nothing but confidence in this tool. Dremel really have made it a versatile tool that you will want to keep close at hand.
It's also proved invaluable for a wiring job on my motorcycle, where using an electric soldering iron would never have been an option.
In summary, I think this is quite possibly the best "gas multitool" you can buy for this price. I can't recommend it enough.
Love this product. Chose it as it is so versatile and as it is from the famous "Dremel" brand there never will be issues finding spare parts.
Out of the box, filled with gas, started rope cutting. That went lovely. Cut a thumb thick 2-layered nylon rope within seconds. Went on to cut various 'lines', some drenching wet, and it was a pleasure. The handling of the Versatip goes very smooth. The cutting was done by pushing the hot cutter blade onto the rope using an old roof tile as underground. To melt the nylon cord ends better together the Versatip handles like a thick marker. Very easy to use with very pleasing results.
The item comes in a handy, well organized, metal box. Can't take a star off the review for it but why is it that these boxes are all to often lacking a good system to securely lock them? The box is great but its lid sits on it as if it were a Sunday afternoon cooky box: if you try to put the manual with the device it won't even keep close. That is a minus that easily could have been improved on. In particular in a marine environment one can't keep the outer cardboard sales packing just to keep the metal box lid in place! Now it's up to the individual DIY-er to fix that. Maybe something with a belt to make carrying the box around more easy too. The small wrenches need a tiny hole in their handle to be able to secure them.
Without any doubt: this tool in the right hand is going to be loved and give a lot of joy and satisfaction.

What's not to love about this? It's an incredibly handy tool, it's easy to use, easy to refill, and since it's butane, infinitely portable.
I primarily use this for modifying my 3D prints with the hot blade attachment and that triangular wedge bit, but it's just as good with soldering and I'd assume any other application that requires a portable hot object.
I wouldn't use this indoors for very long unless your workspace is well ventilated though. Better safe than sorry.
This tool looks like it will last, however and with a decent sized gas reservoir and inbuilt piezo electric lighter I'm getting a decent working window between refills and I'm not looking for some flaky hit-and-miss sparking thing to light the beast up. So far it's lit first time every time and it's up to temperature very quickly.
Very impressed so far and being a reputable manufacturer, spares are available too.
