5.0 out of 5 stars Go Steampunk! 7 Jun. 2012
By Steven Abercrombie - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I bought my copy at Mobicon, and met Kimberly Richardson (the editor), and Allan Gilbreath (one of the authors). Wonderful experience! Each of the stories has its own voice, and each could appear in another themed anthology, under the guise of mystery, military, inspirational. etc. All are interesting in their own right, and I will be ordering the second volume and the third when it becomes available. Good reading!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great collection, loved it 3 Jun. 2011
By clipaclip - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I had to buy a copy after borrowing it from a friend. I loved Missa Dixon's "For the Love of Steam", and Zimmer's "Mountain Skies". The story lines all moved with purpose and the characters had depth. I have been accused of being a grammar stickler and didn't see any typos or errors. It is a great read and looks good on the Kindle.

4.0 out of 5 stars A decent collection of steampunk shorts 29 Mar. 2011
By N. Reed - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
I needed to get into the Steampunk mindset for a game I was running and this collection of shorts helped get the feeling right for myself and my players. Like in any anthology you get winners and losers, but this one was definatley more winners than losers.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Stories of Steam 12 Feb. 2014
By Capot - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
This was a great anthology of short stories. All of the stories were well written but my favorites were Dead Man's Hand, The Bunker; Endeavour of the Rose, Five Copper Bowls, and Artificial Love. I can't wait to read the other books in Ms. Richardsons series.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good collection of steampunk short stories 9 Sept. 2015

If you enjoy steampunk you will find this book interesting. One or two short stories needed some help, but overall the book was great.
