Similar in content and approach to Kipling's "Just So Stories" but a more modern approach, many of the pieces deal with creation ideas, but in an imaginative and unusual fashion as readers will find in the stories of the bee, tortoise and fox to name only a few.
Wrought with the same care Hughes devoted to his more adult works, it is filled with an original and fresh use of language sure to enhance any readers ideas.
An enjoyable addition to any library which will provide hours of bed-time reading.
