Great album: folk with pop influences, and all 13 tracks complement each other perfectly. The whole album has a strong acoustic feel and there's a good mix of songs, my personal favourites are "Riptide," and "Red Eye." I also love the originality of the lyrics.

I'd definitely recommend this album, and I'll be looking out for Vance Joy in the future!

'Dream Your Life Away' is a solid debut album from new singer-songwriter Vance Joy. With 13 well-written, folksy, acoustic songs, the record is a treat from start to finish. If contemporary, relaxing indie music with a good vibe go it is your thing, I highly recommend it. My personal favourite songs are 'Riptide', 'First Time' (listen to the lyrics kids, there very true), 'Winds of Change', and 'Wasted Time'.

Vance, a talented 27 year old from Australia, has a very appealing voice, and I just love his sound, which is reminiscent of the likes of fellow contemporary artists Ben Howard, George Ezra, Mumford and Sons, and Hozier. He is one to keep an eye on.

This album was bought on impulse and it's my best impulse-buy ever. Every single song has such powerful and original lyrics. My favourite is definitely 'From Afar' because the lyrics mean so much to me and the melody is just so incredible. It's actually my all-time favourite song- that's how much it has affected me. I also love 'First Time', 'Georgia', 'Best That I Can' and all of the others are great too. Buy this album, I swear you'll never regret it.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend as he loved "Riptide" and I must say the rest of the album is just as good. I auto-ripped it when I bought it for him so have had a good listen myself. I find "Mess Is Mine" and "Georgia" particularly catchy!

Absolutely love this, my favourite album for a long time. Every song is a real sing along anthem, though many people will initially only recognise the track Riptide which I have heard on a TV commercial. Any fans of Ben Howard and Ed Sheeran will find it perfect. Next thing is to catch Vance Joy on tour in the UK and future releases from this Aussie. Buy it and listen for yourselves, you will not be disappointed.

A very smart and well written debut album from Vance Joy. Best tracks (aside from Riptide, which is obviously the most famous) are probably First Time, Georgia and Mess is Mine. I'm slightly sad that Emmylou from the God Only Loves You When You're Dancing EP didn't make the album, but in total this is an awesome album.

Yes ok it's a good album, doesn't blow me away but it's simple easy listening that you can listen to time and time again. I would recommend as a good solid add to any collection
