I can't draw, hence I bought the book. It is a good book, but you draw abstract lines and then keep adding more lines which eventually compiles the picture.
It is like Paint by Numbers, you copy the lines the stages, but for me it isn't really drawing or learning to draw but copy, which you could do using tracing paper.
I must confess I am a little disappointed. After the introduction, there are no instructions only illustrations in stages.
The stages are good, but are like as I said earlier abstract. you put a line here and a line there... Which for an inexperienced artist is most of the battle is getting the perspective right.
I would say it is for a non-beginner, it has a good variety of flowers/trees etc... In general is a good book.

Pleased with the step by step approach. Of course you are copying but results are so much better and have tackled ones not shown in the book. If you want to draw and fed up with limited outputs then this is for you.

This book is too basic for me, and does not give details of how to achieve the results I'm looking for.
More suited for people who want to copy a drawing rather than learn artistic techniques. I have gained something from the book, not what I wanted though.

I cannot draw, that is why I purchased this book. Maybe a good book for other people, but the abstract lines and adding of other lines totally confused me and I just could not get to understand how this will help me draw and colour flowers etc. Very dissapointing for me.

Not the best flower drawing book in the world. Not enough actual flowers in it. It had trees, cactus etc but even they weren't great pictures. The best picture in the book is the one on the front cover.
