    I bought this driver as I'm restoring a 30 year old motorbike - it's bound to have stuck screws at some point, and even if not, it's one of those tools that I know I'll need in the future because there've been occasions in the past when it'd have been handy!

    It's solidly built and was inexpensive and arrived promptly, and I find Draper products to be pretty good.

    I always read previous customer reviews when buying items like this, particularly the bad ones in case there are points I haven't thought about that I should bare in mind, and this appeared to be well thought-of by most customers. The opinion one reviewer wrote saying it didn't fit in its tin seems inaccurate - it comes with an assortment of different driver bits - some are narrow (flat-head bits) and others are fatter (phillips-head bits). The tin will close if you arrange those bits correctly around the driver. I'll concede that perhaps a slightly bigger tin would alleviate this issue altogether.

    Overall, I think it's a great product that I can't see letting me down - thumbs up from me!! (If it falls apart 1st time I use it, you can be sure I'll amend this review!)

    Used this to loosen a couple of stainless steel M5 screws that our friendly neighbourhood boiler engineers had managed to cross thread and then tighten up beyond any sensible proportion. An electric impact driver had failed, as had plus-gas, heat, and a well fitting chrome vanadium screwdriver. A few taps with a hammer with this tool did the trick - screws loosened, and out they came, when nothing else had worked.

    To those who don't know whether this tool will loosen or tighten - two things. 1) it's supplied in the 'loosen' setting, and 2) the easiest way to set it is to put it onto the screw you want to undo (or tighten) and then turn the body in the direction you want to move it in - this will set it correctly. Apply light turning pressure, and then hit it firmly with a hammer, and hey presto … out it will come. Be patient - a dozen firm taps is more effective than one large thud, which risks snapping the screw off..

    Nice tool. The bits are good enough and appear to be CR-V.

    I needed an impact screwdriver due to a screw that even a mains-powered drill couldn't shift - even when I could feel the heat coming off the motor the screw just wasn't shifting.

    So an impact screwdriver was the last ditch attempt to turn the screw before giving up and replacing the broken appliance. Hence one of these arrived.

    The instructions are a little confusing at first in terms of exactly which way around everything is supposed to go (i.e. whether the screw is to go in or come out), and I found a few times the force of hitting it changed the direction of drive. I also broke a #3 Pozidrive bit, which Amazon replaced very quickly under warranty.

    It does the job, and seems to do it well, and aside from the minor niggles above I rate it highly.

    ATTENZIONE gli inserti non sono della misura standard, servono quelli grossi da 8mm!
    Personalmente ho risolto sfruttando l'attacco quadro da 1/2 pollice nascosto sotto l'adattatore per inserti esagonali, comprando la bussola torx adatta della Beta. Per usarlo selezionate il verso di rotazione come da istruzioni, calzate l'inserto nella maledetta vite e applicate manualmente un leggero momento al manico. Dopodiché basta un colpetto con una mazza appropriata (a me è stata sufficiente una da 500g) e il gioco è fatto. Indispensabile per alcuni lavori.

    Lo he comprado para poder sacar un tornillo de una bomba de freno que se había empezado a dañar la cabeza por estar agarrotado, y sinceramente, no pensaba que lo fuera a sacar. Para poder sacarlo, solamente he tenido que ponerlo en el modo "left" para desenroscar, poner la punta pertinente y una vez en el tornillo, roscar un poquito hacia la izquierda, se nota el recorrido del muelle. Cuando ya no se puede, entonces darle un martillazo y automáticamente gira el tornillo y lo libera. Si a la primera no va, cuestión de probar 2-3 veces, pero ya debería hacerlo.

    Es ideal para sacar tornillos agarrotados (sobretodo por óxido) o que tengan puesto fijatornillos. A parte de eso, no sirve para nada más, pero el día que te hace falta y no lo tienes a mano, te acuerdas de él seguro.

    Por cierto, las puntas son gigantescas, es lo único que no me ha gustado (no me parecen útiles tan grandes). Es recomendable tener un juego de puntas, ya que sino, no creo que lo podáis usar.
