An enchanting modern twist of a classic morality tale (5 to 7 Educator)
A beautifully conceived story book for young children, clearly and wittily written in verse. Witty and warm enough to be shared one to one, bold enough to be shared with a group and challenging enough to be used as an early 'free reader'. Altogether, a most enjoyable picture book for children between 3 and 9 years of age (School Librarian)
A winning combination of excellent rhyming text and illustrations (Nursery World)
Reviews of Class Two at the Zoo by Lynne Chapman:
"A visit to the zoo turns suddenly perilous for a rambunctious class in this bouncy cautionary tale... Just the ticket for reading prior to a class trip."
"With animated illustrations, especially the snake's bulging belly as his 'dinner' wriggles inside him, there's a rising sense of suspense before the snake relinquishes his captives and slinks off to slighter another day..."
A fun, riotous romp of a picture book with a similar feel to The Gruffalo.See all Product Description
