Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with the books but I probably shouldn't have started reading Dragon Shield straight away after finishing Stoneheart - the comparisons were too obvious. I probably will finish these books at some point in the future, just need to leave a little time before going back to them.
As for the books themselves - they're excellent, well told stories, full of adventure and kids will love them. So will some adults.
