Another amazing book from author Jessie Donovan I love how there is always something unexpected going on in Jessie's dragon stories, her books are always imaginative and exciting, the way she writes is very descriptive you can picture not only the handsome dragons but the surrounding areas as well. This story was a little different in that Gina was already pregnant to another dragon shifter who had lied to her, fearing for the life of her unborn child and herself she goes on the run and flee's to Scotland. There she meets Fergus MacKenzie, who at first fights his attraction to Gina fearing that she may bring danger to his clan. Only once he talks to Gina face to face he realised both him and his dragon want Gina in their lives.

Amazing series this really is a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 book. I am quite gutted there is only one book of the series left to read at the moment. It's so good I may have to stalk Jessie Donovan into writing more books.

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!
***Received the ebook from the author for an honest review

The cover is beautiful as always though it is rare to see two gingers together, but only because I don’t know that they would survive each other because redheads tend to be… well you can figure it out. I speak from experience ;)

This is the 2nd book in this series which is a spin off of Stonefire Dragons. Yes, you could read this book without reading the others, but you would be cheating yourself. I have loved all the book’s Jessie has written and I have bought most of them even though I was given a copy to review because I can’t think of a better way to support the author you love if you can afford to. I sometimes have to wait, but I eventually get them. That being said, I highly recommend reading them all in order because you gain perspective and history of all the wonderful characters that Jessie has created. It is always a great day when I get a new book by Jessie to read especially if I can start it right away.

Gina is an American on the run in Scotland because she wants to keep her baby. American dragons are not as bonny as Scottish dragons. Of course, if you read book 1, you know who Fergus is, and this is his story. There is plenty of action and bickering MacKenzies to keep you entertained and laughing. I even cried because I’m a sucker for sappiness when I connect with the characters. I couldn’t put the book down. I can’t wait for more of Jessie’s dragons.

I highly recommend this series and any of Jessie’s Dragon stories to all dragon romance fans especially if you like a dragon with an accent.

Oh how I have miss my Dragonmen! The levelheaded and sweet passionate Fergus MacKenzie finally gets his MATE! Gina MacDonald is hiding out and for good reason. Taking a break from her studies she ventures out with her girlfriends to a local watering hole. Little did Gina know that her world would get so complicated. Meeting one of the Dragonmen from the BroadBay Clan she was caught up in the moment of passion. GIna was just a victim in a twisted game that the BroadBay Clan had of getting human females pregnant and taking the young. Running was her only option to keep her baby. Gina ran all the way to Scotland, or as I would see it into the arms of Fergus! These two Gingers are just a hot as their hair. Their Passion burns hard and bright. Jessie Donovan does a phenomenal job again bringing these characters to life with her spectacular writing.

*I received this ARC from the author in exchange for a honest review*

THE DRAGON GUARDIAN by Jessie Donovan

Gina MacDonald is pregnant and on the run, from dragon-shifters who want her baby. Gina will do anything to protect him, and she leaves the US to go abroad to the Scottish Highlands. She soon notices a black dragon watching her from afar, but she doesn't know if he is part of her past. Until one day when she's in pain and he swoops down to help her. Except this dragon male isn't like the others she has encountered, his touch not only eases her tension but also sets her skin on fire, and knows thats the last thing she should be feeling.

Fergus MacKenzie protects his clan by collecting information and warning them of threats. When he finds a red haired beauty by a nearby lake, he watches her to find out more. When he sees her in pain he flies down to help her. He realises that because she's pregnant that he should walk away, but he can't. Her green eyes draw him in and her touch is highly addictive. Both him and his dragon want her more than anything.

The more Fergus gets to know Gina and about her past, the more he realises the danger she brings to his clan. Torn between protecting his family and following his heart, will Fergus be forced to choose between love and clan, or will they find their happy ever after.

Wow another incredible read. Book two in the Lochguard Highland Dragons was quiet captivating and really sweet. The storyline has excitement, humor, love and action. The characters were amazing. Both, Fergus and Gina, had strong personalities which the author portrayed perfectly. And the MacKenzie family are wonderous and awesome and crazy, and I truly love them all. One of my absolute favourite things of all Jessie's stories is the conversations between the characters and their shifter sides. They are so cleverly written and really comical. Another fantastic story!
