Really good. Perfect for all you DBZ fans out there. Detailed descriptions of scenarios in the series, as well as a bit about Akira Toryiama at the end. Highly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for people that don't know Dragonball & Z 7 Jan. 2011

This book is full of facts about A LOT in Dragonball and Z, though a few were wrong. There isn't anything in this book that you couldn't find out by watching the show or reading the manga, so I was disappointed (I was looking to learn more after reading the manga). There are a million grammatical errors in it though, probably through translation? Its definitely worth the cheap price!

3.0 out of 5 stars Better books exist 17 Oct. 2012

If you're looking for a well written book, you could do alright with this one... however, for a great read, and something new, I think you'd be better off with http://www.amazon.com/Dragon-Ball-Worldviews-Collide-ebook/dp/B0092HRZCI/ref=pd_sim_kstore_1

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't Bother 9 Jan. 2012
By Rick Paddington III - Published on Amazon.com

All I can say is that this book must have been written by a 5-year old. The spelling and grammar are atrocious. All of the 'secrets and mysteries' that are supposed to be revealed are non-existant. All of the information in the book can be found by watching the series. This was a waste of money. You can easily go to a dragonball wiki online and find more information.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, but not entirely accurate 12 Sept. 2013
By DBZ Fan - Published on Amazon.com

This book is helpful to anyone trying to get an understanding of the great story that is Dragonball. However, fans of the series will notice several instances of inaccurate information. For instance, the author talks about Android 18 and refers to her as "him" often. There are also a couple instances where the author confused Gohan for Goku, even stating that Goku destroys Cell with the Kamehameha.

I did enjoy the read though as it covers much of the original Dragonball as well as Dragonball Z. There is mention of the GT series but I believe that the author was only concerned with the workings of Akira Toriyama.

As far as mysteries and secrets go, long time fans of the series will most likely not find anything new here. The book is tailored to younger readers without any of the scientific debates over physics and such that many of the older fans seem to enjoy discussing. It's a good basic read, but don't expect lengthy details over summaries.
