Format: Audio CD
Quite a sweeping statement but there is no doubt that this the first party RnB classic to arrive for the year 2YK. The track is instantly infectious as soon as the CHIC inspired sample kick starts the groove of the song. If ever Dawn , the lead singer, wanted a song that could say to her En Vogue peers "I have well and truely arrived." Than this is it. The dance mix from Mood II Swing takes the track to the Masters at Work (Nu-Yourican Soul) territory, and could work in any club where the onus is to simply dance. The Linslee Campbell mix takes it to a jerky skittery level which seems to take the sound away. However Wookie takes the song further to a garage classic. Simply put, file this under ANTHEM.
