Rachel Robinson is a new Author to me and I enjoyed her style of writing and will definitely read more from her. When I read from the sign up about this book I was very intrigued it got me that this is something that I could actually see coming to life either via the web or tv. After finishing this book I most definitely could see this happening in time but would I watch.....
If your a fan of reality tv and this had a somewhat similar feel to the Bachelor, all be it one hell of a KINKY and SEXY Bachelor then this could be a great read for you. I think most will compare from the bachelor to fifty shades but if your expecting some meek quite submissive you couldn't be further from the truth with Kayla she knows nothing of this life style and with her sass and wit I knew we would be in for fireworks. Dominic who's the Dom for this years games is also the owner of the company is looking for a forever sub but still wants some fire to his sub and this is why Kayla catches his eye over all the other subs.
I try not to give away to many spoilers and really don'y want to with this read, this book has a unique premise it has the erotic scenes we'd expect from a book that contains BDSM but also has humour, love, friendship & heartbreak. The Dom Games kept me entertained and on the edge just enough.
I can really see this book being a love or hate book, I for one loved it. And to answer what I asked earlier would I watch...
Well hell yeah why not!!!!

The Dom Games by Rachel Robinson
3.5 stars!!

“It’s just a game, Sir. One that you so wisely and precisely crafted.”

Rachel Robinson is a new to me author and I have to say, when I saw the sign-ups for this book it was the concept that actually pulled me in to read. While I am not well versed in the BDSM world it was the thought of a “Big Brother” type reality show that coloured me intrigued.

This most definitely was Big Brother meets BDSM and while this concept makes for great, fun reading I don’t think I could ever watch it on TV. This is the reality show where a predominant Dom goes looking for a submissive. He starts with ten contestants and as the week’s progress, they get eliminated until there is only one winner. During the course of the show, there are “scenes” and “punishments scenes” that are all televised and as you can imagine there are cat fights galore and a whole heap of jealousy as these subs fight for the attention of the Dom.

“I’m the casualty in your game of consequences…”

Kayla however, was not a submissive in any way shape or form. In fact, she didn’t have a submissive bone in her body, but she wanted to get her Masters and the prize money from The Dom Games would be more than enough for her to continue her education. Researching the Dom/Sub relationships Kayla thinks that this is the answer to her prayers and so she enters and surprisingly enough gets picked to go on the live show. What she didn’t count on in her grand plan was falling head over heels in love with the Dom and the after effects of just her mere presence on the show.

Dominic was the mastermind behind The Dom Games, this was his baby and after going through a string of subs, he wants to find a forever one.

I enjoyed this book, it was pretty different from a lot of books out there at the moment.
Kayla needs money to pay for her tuition so she decides to enter The Dom Games!
A competition where a Dominant will select 1 submissive to be his forever! 1 snag.....Kayla is not a submissive nor has she ever been!!
Kayla is a great character, full of sass, spit and fire....not your typical submissive at all!! But she sure is trying for the sake of her future.
Dom, the dominant in The Dom Games has several submissives to 'play' with in a house with several play rooms. Everything is filmed for the show and I mean everything!!
Dom's task is easy right? Pick a submissive who he wants to spend forever with.........for a television show.....err no, not that easy but at least he gets to play!!

This book has a little bit of everything from fun and laughter, some smoking hot times and some pretty painful bits that you can only imagine leave a sour taste in your mouth!
Overall, fantastic read!

I was really excited when I heard that this book was being released. And I wasn't disappointed. Both Dominic and Kayla want different things. For Kayla, the games are simply a means to an end. For Dominic, it means having a forever sub. The two characters definitely clash and it makes for great reading. Dominic is certainly a hot alpha male ;)

*We're both straddling the bench, my back against his front. His hands glide over my thighs as he leans his face into my neck. He kisses my ear.

"So we're clear, I would actually rather be f***ing you."*

I love how Kayla is able to create a friendship with Dominic despite the unusual circumstances. I'm not sure who is more surprised about the friendship: Dominic or Kayla. They both push each others boundaries but what is the game and what is real? I had a moment where I wanted to punch Dominic and hug Kayla. It just proves that Rachel has created likable individuals that you connect to and you feel emotions for them. Really a great story. Loved it from start to finish.
