The scientific information, photos of case studies etc. are very well presented and gave me great hope for his approach to healing the body without the need for toxic medication but a more natural lifestyle and diet.
All his advise has been well received by many in this country with Marguerite Patten and Jeanette Ewing taking their lead from Dr Campbell while writing their book 'Eat to Beat Arthritis' with much of their content based on his research.
If you like this book read Margate Hills book 'Treating Arthritis the Drug Free Way' her clinic and health shop in Warwickshire are a great source for help and advise plus their products are all organic and reasonably priced.
All in all Dr Campbell book is a great research tool full of positive information and well worth reading if you have any form of illness not just arthritis..
I read this book in its original form and format, its not that different, it still contains the same information but the knew author has put his twopennyworth in and changed it slightly. it could have done without the extra, but the real contents are still there including the terrible X-ray pictures.
But believe me or not Arthritis is down to diet. I am a 5th Dan belt holder in Aikido. A martial art from Japan and if I couldn't do my Aikido i would have been devastated, as it turned out I was able to continue the practice of this art.
at Forty years old I was diagnosed and my extreme good fortune led me to this book and I followed it to the letter and I was able to live my life free of Arthritis I am now 74 and still free of this dreaded ailment,
so there is life after Arthritis as long as you follow it to the letter and not give a cursory look and think you know. Study the book thoroughly and then read it through again, and then follow the information and live it, for an Arthritis-free life. Good Luck. This is the book?
You have to make some quite big changes to your lifestyle (eating habits) as that's the only way to follow the diet effectively. You really have to plan your food shopping at least 2 weeks in advance. That may seem daunting with a "modern lifestyle" but its the "modern lifestyle" that causing the pain!
After the first week, the pain reduced by about 50% and it's still quite low compared to before but I did slip off the diet a couple of times due to a few very late nights and work overload....
I had to make some big changes to my eating habits, for an Englishman to give up tea is probably the hardest and quite sad but the pain was taking over my life.
I wish I'd come across this book years ago!
