Doctor Who's Lust In Space [VHS]
A tongue-in-cheek documentary seeking to answer the question of whether the long-running television science fiction series 'Doctor Who' was sexist. The answer would seem to be yes, given that the male lead was accompanied by a succession of scantily clad females, many of whom (Carole Ann Ford, Katy Manning, Anneke Wills, Wendy Padbury, Sarah Sutton and Sophie Aldred) are on hand here to offer their 'evidence' to Mark Strickson (who played Turlough, one of the Doctor's comparatively scarce male sidekicks), and James Bree (acclaimed among fans for his various appearances on the show, including his pivotal role as the Keeper of the Matrix).

I completly disagree with the negative reviews that other people have put. This video was made purly for fun and enjoyment and was not ment to be taken seriesly. I think it it a good production and very cleverly put together.

Of course it is. We all know that, and that's part of the fun! The makers of this video, however, have decided that it's worth spending 55 minutes putting the programme "on trial" to decide the answer. Although it is intended to be light-hearted, it falls flat, and is simply a shameless attempt to cash in on the sucess of Doctor Who.
