Whispers heard through a wall... The creaking in the house... The breathing under your bed... Beware The Silence! Materialising their creepy and very advanced time machines in the most secret of places, they infiltrate worlds without anyone ever knowing it - standing in the shadows or hanging clustered from the ceiling like sleeping bats. If you ever see one, don't look away - they'll edit themselves out of your memory so that you never remember them! All they want is to control your planet for their own villainous ends. Silence will fall! Highly detailed construction playset of the Silent time machine as seen in the hit television series Doctor Who. Includes Control room with Control Panels, Control Interface chair with connector cables & two Silent micro-figures.

Although at times the instructions are not very clear, the set itself is very detailed and accessible, and is a lot more robust than previous sets. The price too is brilliant- a set this size would cost £20-30 if it was made by the leading brand, and the quality is just as good.

this set was easy to build from start to finish and at only 10 pounds (roughly) the set really met my expectations, it was cheap and is pretty much one of my favorite sets by character. and for all of you lego fans out there the set is just as good as if not better than lego due to the fact they can make realistic minifigs and decent dioramas. rated a+++++++++

My son was very happy with this toy and he enjoyed making it .... The toy is well made and I am more than happy as a parent of a very happy child that has spent the last of his Christmas money on something so cool ...

I can't help but think that the designers of this product missed some parts out. When you put the 4 upright pieces together in the centre (in the product picture) they don't quite reach, and therefore after putting the first upright in place, you'll find yourself putting another in place and the first coming out. If you eventually manage to get all 4 uprights connected at the same time, they'll be so loosely hanging together that the slightest knock and it'll all come down again... in my case, my 5 year old asks me to put it together and he helps to put the hoses onto the struts after I've struggled to get them in place (as per instructions) and the whole thing falls apart leading to daddy spending another 20 minutes trying to get them back together again, and a little boy who doesn't want to play with it for worry that it'll fall apart again.

These are cheaply designed and made products with poor instructions. Once built it will constantly fall apart unless you glue it all together. The net result is that both Dad and son have got fed up with fixing it and it is in pieces at the bottom of the toy box.

what a splendid piece of kit - completely bonkers but it provided a Time Portal for a game which was nigh on perfect.
