I very much enjoyed the illustrations which are fun in this. I like a bit of humour and this book is a good addition to my "Dr Who" collection.

I was a little disappointed by this, thinking that it might be a similar but updated version of Doctor Who Encyclopedia (New Edition) which has to be pretty much the definitive Encyclopaedia on all things in the Who-niverse - it isn't. It's nice enough of course but hardly comprehensive. A nice addition to my collection, though.

I have a number of Doctor Who books, and I thought 'Do I really need another one?' Well, yes as it turned out. I didn't want to buy the hard back cover because I was quite unimpressed by it's size, and it's a tenner. So I was quite surprised to find it on the kindle for 5.99. I downloaded the sample and got about 6 items from the book (a bit tight?) but I liked what I read so I thought take a chance and buy it. I did not regret it. Don't get me wrong, most of the information is included in the Doctor Who encyclopedia (which I've also reviewed), but these entries are 'worded by the Doctor' so I do think that keeps the ideas fresh; and it includes the 2011 Christmas special. It makes for an informative, funny read. That's the good points, now for the two bad points. There are no links in this book, meaning if you want to view something in the last section you've basically got to whiz past all the other sections before you get to it, you can use, I guess go to location to get you nearer, but you shouldn't have to in a dictionary. The final point is, and I would appreciate feedback to see if anyone else has found this problem, in the section about starships and bases there is text missing from the Crucible, Platform One, Satellite 5 and Torchwood Archive entries. I have been through the entire book and these are the only four problem areas I have found. Fortunately, I have the information in other books, but that's not really the point - the text should be there. Apart from those two problems, I can definitely recommend this book.

My niece had this as a Christmas present and tells me she is constantly dipping in to it for facts and figures on her beloved Dr Who. Well illustrated and with references to all the adventures - not just the recent ones

This was a present for my 8yr old son. He is very pleased with it.
The images are good quality and great for a young Doctor Who fan. The only downside is that the text is written as if the Doctor himself is talking so it is fun to read but not actually that informative. Fine for my sons age but probably not that great for older fans.

My son absolutely loves this book, he is an avid Doctor Who fan and this contains pictures and information on all the characters you could possibly want. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Doctor Who and wants to know more about the items he uses and the creatures and people from the series.
