By Jane Aland VINE VOICE on 14 May 2004
Format: Hardcover
Telos publishings final Doctor Who novella is one of the highlights of the range, an impressive detailing of a Thal exploration of a Dalek base, and the amnesiac Doctor they find within. The characterisation is a little thin at times, but as for the Daleks this is the most impressive they've been for years in the books. The story itself is an neat inversion of the human factor from Evil of the Daleks, and ultimately seems to have been inspired by the old 'Daleks cant climb stairs' argument. Recommended.
