The Thirteenth Doctor
The Thirteenth Doctor is a live wire, full of energy and fizzing with excitement and wit from the very first moment we meet her! The Doctor is a charismatic and confident explorer, dedicated to seeing all the wonders of the universe, championing fairness and kindness wherever she can.
Graham is a funny, charming and cheeky chap from Essex – he’s a family man and an ex-bus driver, with a sharp sense of humour and a caring, warm nature. He moved from Essex to Sheffield to live with the love of his life, his wife Grace. While Grace is more brave and outgoing, Graham tends to hang back, asking practical questions and being a bit more cautious.
Ryan is 19 years old, born and bred in Sheffield, who works in a warehouse while studying to become a mechanic. He likes video games and is great with technology, as well as being a social media expert! Ryan has been raised by his nan, Grace. He’s very close to her and trusts her more than anyone, but he’s still getting used to her relatively new husband, Graham (who he’s not sure about calling ‘Grandad’ just yet).
Yaz is a 19-year-old Sheffielder, friendly and self-assured, a quick logical thinker and a natural leader – the perfect person to have around in a crisis! She hasn’t seen Ryan since they attended primary school together, but is pleased to meet him again when he finds a strange, alien-looking object in the woods…

The actors and actresses range from mildly invested to simply not even trying. The main actress is solely trying to replicate the actions of Matt Smith, however fails in every regard to create a unique or interesting interpretation of the character in question.
The CGI/cinematography varies in quality, which would be acceptable if the episodes had strong writing - however they do not.
The most notable example of this is the episodes 'Arachnids in the UK' where the characters try to pretend that letting spiders starve or suffocate to death is better than a mercy killing. The character we are meant to hate in this episode, who is an allegory for Donald Trump is surprisingly the only one who seems to understand that putting down a suffering creature is better than just letting them go on in agony knowing that they are going to die in a horrible way.
Hopefully the show is cancelled before we arrive at the stage where nobody watches anymore - a cancellation may be the only thing to save the show, enabling for a reboot in a few years time.
So i saw the height first episodes. Jodie whittaker is really not a good actress in Dr who. The best actors of the new team are Tosin Cole and Bradley Walsh.
Stories are boring, except episode 3 rosa parks, a good story. All the others are awful, what a pity.
Now, it looks like X-Files. I think i will stop my Dr Who collection, ( i began with william hartnell.)
So, this is the worst series af all Dr Who history. I hope a new doctor, and new writers. the tardis is no more blue but green- blue.
About the stories, everybody is disappointed.
This is the end, my friends..
What a pity, they kill Dr who and i wont forgive. I hope they will stop after 10 episodes, kill the doctor and gave us a new doctor and other writers and directors.
Also, they introduce politic. It's not good. Half the part of the fan is of course disapointed, with heavy critics of Trump, he is not like episode 4 shows. also green power stories and all this kind of things.. interesting maybe .. but this is not Dr Who.
No longer a family drama, changing people’s sex as if it is nothing when there is people who genuinely feel trapped in the wrong body. It’s thoughtless and cruel
The acting is appalling and all the music blasting it’s very difficult to watch without subtitles on.
If you want escapism but the original series loads of material there. And will not be as dated as this one will be in a few months time as it is so politically heavy it is a bit like watching an old episode of Drop the Dead Donkey or Have I got news for you
