Book Description

Alex Kingston, who plays River Song in the hit BBC TV series, reads this sci-fi noir adventure inspired by the Doctor Who episode 'The Angels Take Manhattan'.

About the Author

Melody Malone is the pseudonym of River Song, wife of the Eleventh Doctor and daughter to Amy and Rory Williams. She was conceived on board the TARDIS as it travelled through the Time Vortex, giving her the ability to regenerate. After a complicated childhood, she became an archaeologist in order to track the Doctor through time. She was convicted for the Eleventh Doctor's murder and imprisoned for many years in Stormcage Containment Facility, before being finally pardoned after it was discovered there was no evidence of the Doctor's existence. She died in the Library, saving the Tenth Doctor, Donna Noble and over four thousand other souls.

Justin Richards has written for stage and screen as well as writing novels and graphic novels. He has also co-written several action thrillers for older children with the acknowledged master of the genre Jack Higgins. Justin acts as Creative Consultant to BBC Books’ range of Doctor Who titles, as well as writing quite a few himself. Married with two children (both boys), Justin lives and works in Warwick, within sight of one of Britain’s best-preserved castles.
