Rich girl meets poor boy and sparks fly.

I liked Brianna, she was rich, nice and wanted more to life than just attending parties and drinking champagne. But she wanted to do something she enjoyed too and when she gets to see what a charity organization is about then she feels like this she could do.

Mitch, honestly he was pretty much an a-hole at times. And only to her, thanks dude! It was cos oh she is rich, then she must be stupid and a snob. So he did say a few things, and of course she took offense. After a while when he started to apologize she shrugged it off. But I would not have given him that many chances. But then she really wanted him. I guess men just can't handle a woman having more money.

Passion brewing in a disaster zone. Back home, will sparks still fly or not? He does not want a relationship with anyone, and being a former street kid he certainly do not see himself worthy of her. But this is a romance and you know it will work out. All thanks to her never giving up.

Really enjoyed Kathryn's second novel. As with her first novel, I found this book hard to put down. It's an enjoyable read and you are sad when it's finished. There is another dimension to Kathryn's novels- yes there is a good romance story- but there is more to it than that. This book really made me think about all the volunteers who go out and risk their lives to help others in natural disasters. The author is hugely talented at getting the reader on board quickly and keeps the readers interest. As a result,I couldn't put the book down , missed the timer beeping at me and the family sunday dinner was slightly burned and the brocolli soggy...but I didn't mind, I loved the book!

What a wonderful dynamic between Mitch and Brianna. They really are polar opposites. Brianna isn’t as shallow as she first appears, a little out of touch with people who are less fortunate than herself, but she is never short of compassion. Brianna's journey through the book is almost a spiritual one, as she finds out how rewarding helping other people can be.
Mitch is an irresistible character and I wish he was my Doctor. The chemistry between him and Brianna was just electric and I didn't want the book to end.
Do opposites attract is a funny, heart warming novel that will keep you smiling all day long.

I cannot wait for the next book from Kate, seconds after finishing Do Opposites Attract I downloaded Kate's first book and loved that just as much! This is a fantastic read, perfect for when you're lying on the beach or tucked up with a hot chocolate. I have just ordered three more for Christmas presents. Thank you Kate for an amazing read, cannot wait for the next xxx

I liked the not so obvious setting/backdrop for some of this story and it sat really well with Mitch’s character. I wasn’t sure how much I would like Brianna at first, but as the story unfolds, you get to know her better and find out there is much more to her than what appears on the surface. Great chemistry between the hero and heroine. It was a really enjoyable read.

Brianna is the daughter of very wealthy parents but she is bored with her life of doing nothing she longs to be doing something that she can be passionate about.
Brianna's mother is the patron of a charity called Medic SOS that go wherever they are needed, so when Brianna is asked if she would like to go to South America to aide in the aftermath of a tornado, she feels this may be her calling.
But after arriving at the airport and having met her sullen escort, Brianna's is left wondering is it her calling or should she be calling her home....

As the title suggests, this story pulls together two characters who are the complete opposite of each other, for me this added some wonderful sparks to the story and had me rapidly turning the pages.

My favourite people in this book are definitely Brianna and Mitch our wonderful lead characters.
Brianna is an incredible feisty character who even though at times faces situations where she is clearly out of her depth ,will try her best and give it her all.
Mitch has a very big chip on his shoulder and is very much a man who keeps things close to his chest but when it comes to his patients he gives his all and will even risk his own life for them.

I really enjoyed this book so much so that I read it in one sitting, it would make a fabulous holiday read and is definitely not a book to be missed!

True love doesn't recognise class divides but 'it is a truth universally acknowledged' that lovers from different sides of the tracks make for a great story... Brianna and Mitch go through every trial and every tribulation the author can throw at them and - even though the outcome is absolutely as it should be - the journey there is immensely readable. Mitch, the ex-army trauma doctor is handsome, fierce and fearless and Brianna doesn't take any prisoners either, although she does have to learn to come off her high horse, in time-honoured tradition. This is a great story, well told, and it doesn't even put me off that the heroine is named after a range of salad dressings. (My favourite salad dressings, I hasten to add!)
