I have read all the Mystery Man books & some of Murphy's law I thought this looked equally intriguing but I am finding it difficult to get into.
Started it twice now and still have not finished it. It is possible that it is just the mood I am in at present, but anyone buying it should know that it is a totally different style from Mystery Man

As a long time fan of Chris Brookmyre, I was keen to give this a go and I'm glad i did. A great story, an easy read, definite page turner. Only loses a star because of a couple of small issues with the Kindle version; you really don't expect to find the text jumbled up, but i did!

The author that cracks me up till this day without a problem.

Divorcing Jack follows the hectic ups and downs of a Belfast man by the name of Dan Starkey...

Trying to put this into words for american friends and anyone NON Belfast.. to understand is complex.. I end up just attempting to convince them just to get it based on sarcasm.

It is without a doubt the best book by bateman and will remain a fave of mine.

The reliance on spell check means that books are now published with entire sections that make no sense. Do Editors actually read novels any more? This probably makes me a pedant, but I would have enjoyed this book a lot more if I wasn't being irritated by the poor grammar and spelling.

Funny, light hearted, drips with sarcasm. Well worth a read and the story gets better with each book in the series. I own the hard copies and have now got them for kindle.

Quite a good read with some interesting twists but forgettable after a few days. Overall our book club gave it six out of 10!

A novel that bounces you along at a rollicking pace with enough twists and turns to leaving you reeling all the characters are well drawn and unbelievable and believable at the same time. Great.
