I have never read any of Kizzie Darker's books so I had no idea what to expect in her writing. The storyline content was good, but I found the flow of that content choppy. I felt like it was incomplete in certain areas and was jumping around. I am sure others would disagree with me, but since I haven't read her books before to know what her style is like, it stood out. I will read another of Kizzies books to find out if it was just that book.
another indie author simply trying to make a quick buck without caring about the craft.
a dull slow read that never really grabs the readers interest at all. Little thought has gone into what is no more than cheap sloppy porn.
poor storyline and very badly written.
author ? I'd say don't give up the day job
On starting to read though I did find the main female character - Joanna Woods - a little naive and perhaps annoying; I really wanted to like her but I couldn't.
I couldn't feel any chemistry in the relationship between Joanna & Nathan until around 80% into the book although I would loved to have done so sooner as even though he has secrets, Nathan is hot and a charmer.
The storyline itself seemed rushed and at places felt like there was parts missing; with the nature of the story I would have liked there to have been more drama. Nevertheless, Kizzie did a good job of keeping big secrets hidden until they were revealed and I did gasp a couple of times.
This story ends on a cliffhanger so though I don't feel it was 100% for me at this time, I do want to read the next installment to discover more about the mysterious Nathan Jones!
